Opinion: I believe Atiku would do better than Buhari - George Daniel

Editor’s note: George Onmonya Daniel in the piece maintains that it is not wrong for Atiku Abubakar to nurse a presidential ambition. He says President Buhari has made the president's job look like it is a piece of cake.

Why are you afraid of Atiku Abubakar? The man maybe whatever you said he is, but the man is not a hypocrite. Atiku has never hidden his ambition to be President of Nigeria, for a politician who has attained the level he reached in his political career, being president is the next place to pursue.

What's wrong with that? Honestly, nothing except Buhari supporters would blackmail anyone who has an ambition to be president after the obvious failure of their demi-god. Atiku Abubakar is the number one enemy now. For what? For having an ambition.

Hear me clearly, I am not a fan of Atiku Abubakar, but I believe he can do better than Buhari. Look at Buhari team, they look like a bunch of a state governor's advisers. Can you compare them with Obj/Atiku people? Atiku brought the likes of Nasir El-Rufai into the game even though El-Rufai has betrayed him today. So what are we talking about?
